chantel's work is focused primarily on theatre works, musicians and political environments. In addition to her independent work she was also a staff photographer for The Living Theatre for many years.
chantel became a member of The Living Theatre in the Summer of 2006. She first performed with the company at Times Square in "No, Sir!". That Fall she was invited to Ecuador to perform in "Mysteries & Smaller Pieces". Shortly after her return she began shooting for The Living Theatre. She is best known for her photographs of "The Brig" in New York & Italy. Photos of "The Brig" and "Maudie and Jane" have appeared in American Theatre Magazine, PAJ, CIBS and other printed and online press.
Recently, chantel's photography was seen in two publications: the book: "Not Just a Mirror: Looking for the Political Theatre of Today" and another by Duke University Press: "Poetry is "No Poverty", and "No Poverty" is Poetry.
